First T-shirt Launch Night

After receiving the first 3 batches of t-shirts we set about promoting "the free t-shirt giveaway" on the Distorted Facebook page. And it was a huge success! These promotional photos are from the launch night.

Urban Arts Interactive Branding

This was meant as a web banner for the upcoming project website and was inspired by oriental art.

This alternative design, I felt, was too bloody and did not convey the right message
Before the project's name changed to UAI, it use to be Urban Arts Dundee. But too many people mistook it for the University of Abertay Dundee from these two designs. The main point of these logo designs was to convey creativity within a urban environment, that it has deep roots within the city. However I felt that these concepts were not quite the right approach.

Instead, after the name change, I decided to  go for a more flowing design that could easily be integrated into the previous poster designs. This is the final design.

Urban Arts Interactive Poster Designs

"We Attack At Dawn - Creative Dundee"

"Dundee Beats -  Let It Flow"

" Can't Stop the Music"

Urban Arts QR code visual instructions.

These posters were the promotional material I used for my honours project. After developing a brand for a networking community for the local creative people of Dundee. The use of QR codes was part of the project which promotes the use of cutting edge technology.

The DJs of Dundee Union's metal night asked me to design a series of four collectable t-shirts for this year. The brief expressed a real simplistic design which is inspired by Scottish imagery and colour  to be styled like individual modern crests. The first 3 designs have been sent to the printers and soon we will see the result of the design on the target audience.
